Our feeling was that there are two major gaps in the Sales Training market. Firstly, although there are many suppliers offering specific workshops (eg negotiation), nobody had a full suite of modules that give sales professionals all the building blocks they need to move through their career; Secondly, the sales role, especially in FMCG, has changed beyond recognition, with a much higher commercial focus and many new ways of working between retailers and suppliers: our feeling was that many of the existing training propositions in the market did not reflect this changing environment.
It is with these two points in mind that we created the Customer Value Academy: a competency-based, fully-fledged sales development program that can be implemented in its entirety or selectively. Our Customer Value Academy was selected by one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers in 2014 as their sales development platform across all of their divisions.
